Alter Bridge are going full speed ahead. But a moment ago, they released an excellent self-titled album, the first great rock record of the year and perhaps the most important one. Is it just as good live? The answer to that question is obvious to anyone who attended their Tuesday concert in the PreZero Arena in Gliwice, singing along to their comprehensive set – from newer songs to cult classics and choruses of their best anthems.
But that’s not the end! Alter Bridge are already planning to come back to Poland on June 17, as part of their What Lies Within tour. They’ll play fan favourite deep cuts in Klub Studio in Kraków – better buy the tickets quickly!
Over two decades on stage and no sign of fatigue. Myles Kennedy (vocals and rhythm guitar), Mark Tremonti (lead guitar, vocals), Brian Marshall (bass guitar), and Scott Phillips (drums) are continuing their winning streak. The self-titled album was released on January 9 via Napalm Records. Fantastic riffs, catchy choruses, the mighty sound of the purest rock – all that times 12, that’s the content of this album. Songs such as “Rue The Day,” “Disregarded,” “Scales Are Falling” or “Hang By A Thread” are instant classics in the American band’s discography and are sure to make regular appearances on their setlists – which we will already get to see today in Gliwice and in June in Kraków.
