To say that Spiritbox are on the rise is an understatement. We are dealing with a phenomenon of tsunami proportions and power. On September 23, the Tsunami Sea tour will reach Poland! Spiritbox will play for you in Gliwice, at PreZero Arena Gliwice. The act of destruction will be completed by performances from special guests Jinjer and Dying Wish.
Spiritbox needs no introduction; this is the band that recently shook up the respected bigwigs at the Grammy Awards with their song “Soft Spine.” They are one of the most important representatives of new wave of metal of this decade, which was already obvious after their debut album, Eternal Blue, released in 2021. Their domain is metalcore, whose rapid flow also incorporates elements of other genres: djent, prog metal, and nu metal. Their trademarks are Courtney LaPlante’s incredibly flexible voice and guitarist Mike Stringer’s musical imagination. Released last year, Spiritbox’s second album, Tsunami Sea, confirms their class and original take on the world of sound.
Jinjer’s latest, fifth album is titled Duél, but it would be unwise to challenge them to a duel. This Ukrainian phenomenon is unstoppable and inimitable – no one else has Tatiana Shmayluk’s voice and charisma, no one else plays futuristic, progressive metal in this way.
The third fantastic band in this company is the American group Dying Wish, with Emma Boster on vocals. They come from Portland and operate on a scale that encompasses hardcore aggression and the emotionality of melodic metalcore. They hit the road to promote their last year’s album “Flesh Stays Together.”
