Mystic Festival 2023: Different Shades of Darkness

Antimatter, Darkher, Lili Refrain, Pure Bedlam – these four bands will perform on the stage curated by Iron Realm Productions. This brand means we can expect nothing else, but a series of atmospheric shows that will explore different shades of darkness.

Antimatter

This project, initiated by Mick Moss, is well known in Poland, and Antimattter’s followers appreciate its mixture of gothic gloom, prog-rock class, and triphop melancholy. Just a few days Atimatter released a new album “A Profusion of Thought,” which constitutes yet another chapter in Mick Moss’s music exploration of the complexities of human nature.

Lili Refrain

She lives in Rome, but her music emits no Mediterranean sunshine. Lili Refrain is a vocalist, a multi-instrumentalist, and a composer, appreciated for retaining the balance between the strength of rock, the honesty of folk, and the ritual of trans music. Her album “Mana,” is the affirmation of life, and especially of its darker shades.

Darkher

Jayn Maiven, has been summoning storms under this name for almost a decade. She is a vocalist, a guitar player, and a composer from north of England. In her etheric signing, gloomy sounds, and dark lyrics, lurk the experiences of loneliness, melancholy, the power of nature, and the mystery of death. Darkher’s album “The Buried Storm”, released this year, will bear testimony to the power of her spells.

Pure Bedlam

Originating from Katowice, and comprising musicians from such bands as In2Elements, or Mentor, Pure Bedlam play music that brings together post-rock, grunge, and gothic, but they also discover in these well-known territories uniquely new paths. You should definitely check these out on their newly released mini album “The Sightseer”.

We remind that the festival’s line-up already includes Ghost, Gojira, Testament, Meshuggah, The Hellacopters, Behemoth, Exodus, Watain, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons (with a Motörhead set), Voivod, Godflesh, Moonspell, Perturbator, Alcest, Greg Puciato, Grave, Earthless, Primitive Man, Sleep Token, Carpathian Forest, Lord Of The Lost, Unleashed, Lucifer, Bury Tomorrow, Employed To Serve, Orbit Culture, LLNN, Ne Obliviscaris, Heriot, Undeath, Pupil Slicer, Soen, Sylvaine and Horskh.
